Using the service

  • Client Report publishes evaluations of client companies contributed by vendors, for use in commercial decision-making.
  • You may read published records freely. Posting an evaluation requires an account and agreement to the evaluation guidelines. We do not currently send a confirmation email, so an address is not verified; what identifies a contribution is the IP address and time it was posted from.
  • You may not scrape, resell or republish the database in bulk.

Contributions

  • You keep ownership of what you write and grant us a licence to publish and translate it on this service.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of what you post and for keeping confidential material out of it.
  • We may remove a contribution that breaches the guidelines, and may suspend accounts that repeatedly do so.

Companies

  • A company described on this service may respond publicly, dispute a record, or request removal with reasons.
  • We aim to acknowledge a dispute within five business days.
  • Disputed records may be temporarily hidden while we review them.

Limits

  • Evaluations are opinions and experiences of individual contributors, not statements of verified fact by us.
  • We provide the service as it is and do not guarantee that a record is complete or current.
  • Nothing here is legal, financial or credit advice.

United States

  • Evaluations are published by their contributors. We are a provider of an interactive computer service, not the publisher or speaker of what contributors write, and we neither write evaluations ourselves nor edit them into something their author did not say.
  • We do not remove an evaluation because a company asked us to and offered to pay. Removal follows the evaluation guidelines, and nothing else. We do not selectively hide critical evaluations, and we do not publish evaluations written by anyone connected to us without saying so.
  • Claims of copyright infringement are handled through the notice-and-takedown procedure on the copyright page, which also sets out how repeat infringers are treated.
  • To the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, and our liability arising out of it is limited to the amount you have paid us — which, for reading and for posting evaluations, is nothing.
  • The governing law and the forum for disputes have not yet been settled with counsel, and we would rather leave that open than state something we cannot stand behind. Nothing here waives any right you have under the law of the place you live.

Contributor information is not public. Where required by a valid legal request from a court, law-enforcement authority, or other competent body, we may provide information to the extent legally required.
